The 0 Project at Arlington

Selected from among hundreds of applicants in the mid-Atlantic region the 0 project premiered as a printed piece wrapping the Arlington Arts Center in the fall of 2007. Printed on DuPont™ Tyvek® banner media it was-when installed fifteen feet high, wrapping 300 feet around the outside of the art center. The art center, located in the heart of a major expanding growth market, is ten minutes from the heart of Washington, DC. The project included a filmed video and was installed for three months. The opening in early October included a hundred masks printed on DuPont™ Tyvek® in a performance piece created by Bosma Dance company in collaboration with the artist. The Arlington Arts Center hosted workshops for adults and children. There was also a day devoted to causes, which included a speakers corner, much like the one in London. These events all worked in conjunction with the 0 Project. The catalog on the project is now available.
